On May 16th 2018 Síle Maguire, the Ambassador of Ireland to Spain, came to visit us in Valencia. The Ambassador was coming to Valencia for a few days on a trade visit so she decided to come down a little early so that she could catch up with members of the Irish community in Valencia.
We gathered in the rooftop bar of the Expo Hotel. The evening was mild and we were treated to a most impressive sunset. There were Irish people from all walks of life and from all over the community of Valencia there. The area that we were in was perfect for the occasion as people could stand up and move around to chat to whoever they wanted to.
Everybody was delighted to meet Síle. She made sure to get around to all who attended, and everyone had an enjoyable night.
