With 4 four days to go to St. Patrick’s Day, we are stepping up our preparations for the 2019 Valencia St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. The Embassy of Ireland and Tourism Ireland have generously provided funding for this event, support which is greatly appreciated.
Síle Maguire, Ambassador of Ireland to Spain, released the following statement:
“Valencia es una ciudad con gran tradición de acoger a visitantes de la región mediterránea, y de todas partes del mundo. Su calurosa bienvenida es bien conocida por todos. Como Embajadora de Irlanda, estoy encantada de que nuestra Fiesta Nacional se celebre este año en Valencia con un Desfile y Festival de San Patricio.
Es una manera de que la comunidad irlandesa en Valencia pueda dar las gracias a su ciudad anfitriona. Quisiera expresar mi sincero agradecimiento al Sr. Joan Ribó, Alcalde de Valencia, y a todo el Ayuntamiento, por su apoyo a esta celebración. También quiero dar las gracias a mis compatriotas en Valencia por organizar este Día de San Patricio valenciano. Lá Fhéile Pádraig! Happy St Patrick’s Day! ¡Feliz Día de San Patricio! The Valencia St. Patrick’s Day Festival takes place at Tinglado 2 from 1130 to 1400, with the Parade taking place from 1400 to 1430.
